The leg extension machine can be an integral part of your exercise plan, but you need to make sure that it is being used correctly in order to minimize potential risks. Today, we want to talk to you about how straight you should be trying to make your knees when you are doing this exercise.
Most people using the leg extension machine try to get their knees perfectly straight at the top of the exercise, but oftentimes this can be detrimental to their knees, hips, and low back. In order to safely perform this exercise, make sure to follow the cues given in this week’s video.
