Now this week, we are talking to those of you who are experiencing the Winter Blues. We are in the dead of winter right now and times can feel really dreary. But, what things can you do with your exercise to improve your mood and your spirits?
1) Make Your Exercise Consistent
Tip Number One For Exercising With The Winter Blues: Make your exercise consistent. One thing we know for sure is that when you consistently exercise, you feel better physically and emotionally. Not only do you feel better with your body, but your body also creates a hormonal response while exercising that can help you feel happier.
Action Step: Schedule your exercise time to make sure you get your workouts in. Overcoming the “I don’t have the time” syndrome is step number one to making sure you exercise consistently.

2) Participate In Workouts You Enjoy
Tip Number Two For Exercising With The Winter Blues: Participate in workouts you enjoy. Exercise can be SO beneficial for your body, but if you are dreading doing your workouts, it is less likely you are going to get them in. So, find some kind of activity such as running, lifting weights, doing group classes, or playing pickup basketball, that you actually enjoy in order to make sure you get your exercise in.

3) Hire A Professional
