1) Join A Gym
Exercise Tip Number One If You Are Not a Member of a Gym – go join a gym, if you can. A lot of times we think we can get all of our exercising done at home. While in some cases this can actually work out, it will be so much quicker, so much more efficient, and a far better use of your time if you go ahead a join a gym. Reason being, gyms have so many fabulous machines that are easy to access and will allow you to challenge your body more efficiently.
Action Step: Not all gyms are created equal, but most do have some weight machines. So, for your purposes, join a gym that you can access easily and that you can afford, and then you can switch your gym membership up from there based on your preferences.

3) Outfit Your Home
Exercise Tip Number Three If You Are Not a Member of a Gym – outfit your home with some great and simple exercise equipment. A lot of times you can find dumbbells and resistance bands in stores and online. Make sure to have at least these two items on hand so you can challenge your body in different ways. This way, you can venture outside of just the standard body weight exercises and your body can get the benefit from all different types of exercises.
Action Step: Check out the abundance of exercise equipment the next time you are in a big retail store. You don’t need an extensive supply of equipment as dumbbells and bands can make a tremendous difference in what you are able to do by yourself.
